Oval Pointed Squirrel Mix - Short Handle

The Neef 4600 Oval Pointed Squirrel Mix Brush can be useds for different Watercolour and Gouache effects. The rounded edge of the brush can produce oval stroke shapes, perfect for flower petals, gentle hills, faces and figures.

A new development has been the combination of squirrel and taklon. TAKLON For point and spring, SQUIRREL for colour carrying capacity. This mix gives a superb brush for watercolour in particular at a much lower price than sable. Traditionally watercolourists have used brushes made from squirrel, however the hair is expensive. 20% of the SQUIRREL / TAKLON brush hair is made from blue Squirrel. This hair is a lot lighter than the taklon so the actual hair volume for the squirrel component seems much greater.
